Eligibility

 

Lucy’s Hearth is a shelter for homeless mothers and their children.  We only shelter women who have their children with them.  We foster a safe family environment, so we carefully screen our residents. 

• Women with criminal backgrounds are not appropriate for our shelter. 
• Women without children are not eligible for our shelter
• Because of our community style living, we do not shelter male children over the age of thirteen.
• We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding weapons and drug use.
